A note for Harmony AI team

Harmony is building in the part of AI I care about most: software that has to work inside a real operation, not just look impressive in a demo. I have spent 20+ years coding across full stack products, infrastructure, support, and the messy connective tissue between systems and people. I have rebuilt servers and networks on site, owned datacenter and client infrastructure, built internal operational tools, and shipped an acquired SaaS product. Today I code AI tools and workflows around retrieval, structured outputs, classification, orchestration, evaluation, and human review. I know how quickly a clean model assumption hits ugly production reality, and I actually like that part. Harmony's mix of agents, retrieval, action, factory visits, and end-to-end accountability feels unusually close to how I already work. I would love to help build the systems that make factory knowledge usable and operational work move.

Applied AI for real operations

Retrieve and ground

I code retrieval, embedding, search, and source-aware workflows that turn scattered operational knowledge into useful context.

Reason and act

I build structured outputs, classification, natural-language interfaces, and tool orchestration that can move work while keeping people in control.

Evaluate in production

I pair AI behavior with evaluation harnesses, tests, observability, guardrails, and human review because a convincing demo is not the finish line.

Understand the operation

My background spans software, infrastructure, support, datacenters, and on-site business IT, so I am comfortable tracing a workflow across systems, machines, and people.

I build the product when the workflow is too important for another generic tool.

Summary

I am a product engineer and systems builder who thrives where software, operations, and infrastructure collide. For more than 20 years, I have taken ambiguous workflows from stakeholder discovery and data modeling through full stack implementation, production rollout, and support. I code the products myself, and I use AI tools I developed through that engineering work to accelerate research, testing, automation, and delivery without outsourcing technical judgment. My background spans an acquired Amazon SaaS product, enterprise infrastructure, real-time internal tools, deterministic game systems, open-source platforms, and five years helping crypto teams ship products and raise money.

The work behind the products

Core Skills

Product and Full Stack

Translate incomplete operational requirements into domain models, user flows, production interfaces, APIs, background jobs, and measurable outcomes. I work across React, Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js, PostgreSQL, Redis, REST and GraphQL APIs, WebSockets, real-time collaboration, authentication, payments, and admin tooling.

AI Tools and Automation

Build AI into real product workflows through retrieval, embeddings, structured outputs, classification, natural-language interfaces, tool orchestration, evaluation harnesses, and human review. I also code the AI-assisted development tools I use, so faster delivery still sits on explicit architecture, source control, tests, observability, and accountable engineering judgment.

Operations and Integrations

Model the messy work between systems: scheduling, email triage, support queues, CRM state, ticketing, notifications, approvals, dashboards, and handoffs. I work directly with operators and non-technical stakeholders, identify the actual constraint, then replace fragile manual steps with auditable software and integrations.

Systems and Delivery

Own the release path and the runtime: Linux, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Ansible, CI/CD, Nginx, networking, monitoring, security, backup, disaster recovery, and datacenter operations. I design for operability, instrument failure modes, and stay responsible after the deploy.

Professional Experience

Technomancy IT LLC - Founder / Product Engineer / Systems Lead

2015-Present

Founded a product engineering and managed-technology company delivering web applications, operational tooling, AI automation, blockchain systems, and production infrastructure. Built with React, Vue, Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js, PostgreSQL, Redis, Socket.IO, smart contracts, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud and on-prem systems. Operated from Wray, Colorado for three years and became a go-to technology resource across the town, translating rural business and community needs into practical software, hardware, networking, and support. Managed Excell Services' complete IT function and led its end-to-end infrastructure modernization: audited and rebuilt on-site servers, negotiated a fiber agreement that saved thousands of dollars, implemented multi-location backup and recovery, engineered wireless links between separated offices, supported roughly 30 employees, and completed the migration without business interruption. For Blade Construction, designed a custom ticketing and CRM workflow and owned the surrounding IT environment. Over the last five years, partnered with crypto and creative teams on games, marketplaces, art platforms, websites, NFT products, launch operations, and fundraising systems.

Front Range Internet - Senior Systems Engineer / Datacenter Architect

2015-2019

Served as the senior systems engineer and datacenter architect, designing and setting up infrastructure for the datacenter and client environments while modernizing workloads from hardware-centric virtualization to reproducible Docker, Docker Swarm, and Kubernetes platforms. Codified infrastructure and deployment workflows with Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD; led monitoring, capacity planning, recovery, client migrations, runtime operations, and incident response.

Office Evolution - Systems / Software Engineer

2013-2014

Built centralized internal applications backed by SQL and MongoDB that connected CRM records, network provisioning, employee onboarding, and service operations. Designed and supported IT architecture across multiple locations and client environments, turning cross-department handoffs into explicit workflows and operational systems.

PlumChoice / Everon - Network Engineer

2011-2013

Operated networks and managed IT for a portfolio of SMB clients, combining remote monitoring, incident response, endpoint and network troubleshooting, and repeatable automation. Built diagnostic and support tooling that shortened the path from alert to resolution while communicating directly with business owners and end users.

Selected Projects and Client Work

Agorix Decentralized Marketplace

Current

Engineering an open, decentralized marketplace spanning Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana with deterministic protocol validation, quorum-backed state, node governance, distributed PSBT workflows, provider-aware routing, and a complete listing and transaction UX. The system keeps consensus-critical truth in verifiable code while using AI only for assistive analysis, never protocol authority.

Distributed SystemsBitcoinEthereumSolanaConsensus

Proofmark

Open Source

Created an AGPL open-source document signing platform with Ethereum, Base, Solana, and Bitcoin wallet signatures; email and OTP fallback; 30+ PDF field types; sequential and parallel routing; hash-chained audit trails; client-side encrypted vaults; webhooks; and embedded signing. The architecture combines Next.js 15, React 19, tRPC, Drizzle, PostgreSQL, and an internal Rust verification and PDF engine.

Foundation Archive and Share Bridge

Open Source

Built an archival workflow and cross-platform Rust bridge that helps artists and collectors rescue Foundation assets, verify and pin content through IPFS, track repair work, and preserve access independently of a single marketplace. The project joins desktop tooling, content-addressed storage, recovery automation, and long-term digital-art stewardship.

NuPrice - Amazon Repricer for Resellers

Acquired Product

Designed, built, and operated an Amazon reseller SaaS product that ingested marketplace and competitor data, evaluated repricing rules, and automated price decisions before the current wave of AI tooling. NuPrice combined a Node.js application stack with real-time monitoring, analytics, account and subscription workflows, a CMS, and support embedded directly in the product. The platform solved operational gaps competing tools did not and was acquired.
